"Every time a bell rings and angel gets his wings"
For todays family activity is to attend Sunday mass. We are on are way there now. I’m always interested to what the gospel will teach us.
The first thing my family and I do when we arrive at the church is light candles for a past love ones and for love ones that are still on earth.
The gospel spoke of Mary becoming pregnant Luke 1:34-35 “Mary asked the angel, "How can this be? I'm a virgin." The angel answered her, "The Holy Spirit will come to you, and the power the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the holy child developing inside you will be called the Son of God.” The priest explained how when a child is in the mothers womb. The child can hear you amongst the darken. The child knows and trusts that soon he will be reunited with the light and surrounded by loved ones. He was also talking about a silent retreat ... that helps you recharge and comeback to your centre. He was saying how sometimes it’s good to repeat one or two words over and over to yourself during the day. And of course I though to myself, saying words to yourself is affirmation. He continuing on saying how he was going to there to connect with god. And explained that god is the light that helps you come out of darkness. Just like the baby in is mother’s womb.
He continued saying how before our soul is connected to our body it’s kissed by god. And we go on in life looking for that kiss.
It was such a beautiful mass I want to thank father Francis for all the wonderful words.
God bless you one and all
