"A book is a gift you can open again and again"
This was an advent activity I’m most looking forward to. I love watching movie when families are all gathered together with a Christmas book. So obviously I wanted to have this activity be part of the Christmas Advent Calendar.
The other day I stumbled across a Christmas book I’ve never seen. They title is “An Invisible Thread” by Laura Schroff and Alex Tresniowski, it's based on a true story and #1 New York Times bestsellers. I’m sure my family and I were going to enjoy the book I found. Now that I had the book where would we gather as a family to read it. Have any of you guessed it? That right next to the Christmas tree with Christmas carol playing softly in the background.
Honestly creating these memories is a wonderful thing for the soul. It bring the family together and allows them to slow down and focus on one and other. Sharing the love we have for each other, plays a huge role on how close a family is. As we all understand the hustle and ... we do all year. It’s the perfect time to stop a appreciate the love you share with family.
PS... To be honest I sneeked in a second book. A classic I remember from my childhood “The Berenstain Bears and the Joy of Giving” by Jan and Mike Berenstain.
