Family Christmas Advent Calendar - Day 19

"The greatest gifts are not wrapped in paper but in love"

Today’s is the day for gift wrapping. The perfect day to channel all of my creativity and put all into each Christmas present. Always keeping in mind the personality of the person the gift is being given to. 

I’ve decided not to buy any wrapping paper this year. As I have collected so many over the year and I want to finish all the paper that i already have. As you know my colours for this year are green, grey, gold, brown and silver. As I started to wrap the gift I noticed I was missing to cute little extra decoration I normally add to spruce up my gifts. It was a perfect time for a field trip to Dollorama to pick up those cute knick-knacks. As I was going down the Christmas aisle I noticed that the decorations are becoming quite sparse and thought to myself Christmas Eve is only in five days. I found so items that merry great with my theme. Then I stumble upon these perfect gold extra sparkly flowers. Although they had no price, I look for some that were the same and none had a tag. I decided to go to the cash perhaps they new the price. It was my turn to pay and when I asked them the price none of the employees had an idea them selves. In the end the cashier gave it to me as a Christmas gift.

When I return home I put myself back into gift wrapping mode. Now was the time for me to shine and let my creative juices flow.  Being able to throw myself into a hobby that bring me so much joy, truly feels like the spirit of Christmas. Being surrounded with wrapping paper and up to my ears with ribbon, to me it doesn’t get better then that. 

Best part of my day was when I receive those sparkly flowers for free. Does anyone have a story like that to share. The Gem community would love to hear about it.

21x21 Manifestation Challenge

A couple of week ago I saw a manifestation challenge that I’ve never hear or seen before. It’s called the 5x55 manifestation challenge. When I first found the video on YouTube I was in the Dominican Republic, so I decided when I got back home I would start it.  Basically the 5x55 Manifestation Challenge goes something like this. You decide on something you want to manifest. It could be anything from wanting a new car to getting someone to call. Honestly it could be anything your wonderful heart desires. So once you know what you want to manifest, you put it in a sentence “I’m so happy and grateful to be driving my brand new car” for example. Once you have you sentence you need to write it out 55 times for 5 days. It’s that simple. Energy is everywhere and apart of everything. For this post I want to explain how colour can affect your energy balance. Different colours have an association with a specific feeling and behaviours in your life. Focusing on specific colour can indicate if you are balanced to who you truly are or want to be.
