Family Christmas Advent Calendar - Day 13

"It's Never Too Early to Start Crafting for Christmas"

Today is the day for crafting. We are making a few handmade ornaments for the tree. I find that this will add an organic touch to our Christmas tree.

I decided on doing three different ornaments. The first is super simple to make and all you need is cinnamon scented pine cones (I purchased mine at Micheals), natural raffia, glue gun and glue gun sticks. The second will be a bit more time consuming but totally worth it. I knew I wanted to incorporate squirrels this year, so I decided to make my own. Supplies need is foam-core, glue and gun, jingle bell, wool, scissors and an X-Acto. I created a stencil and traced it on brown foam-core and used an exacto to cut it out. Used wool to make the squirrels tail fluffy. Then finished it by glueing a bell to its paw.  For the final ornament I got wood disk, picture frame eye hooks, gold paint and paint brush. First step is to screw eye-hooks into wood disks. Second step is to paint a Christmas shape or family initials on disk.

So there are all the craft that my family and I will be doing this year. I’m so appreciative of them helping me and creating those memories I will cherish for years to come.

If you would like me to create a step by step video of any of my ornaments leave in the comments below. :)

Smudging Ritual

Over the weekend my family and I were invited to my cousins, for a house warming party. As I started talking to my mom about what to get her, a Smudging Kit came to mind. Sacred Smoke Bowl Blessing commonly known today as Smudging. It’s a powerful spiritual cleansing technique to purify any space or a brand new home. I had so much fun creating the Smudging Kit. I wanted to share it with you so you can make your own or for family and friend. The kit has all the essential needed smudge stick, small bowl, lighter, candle, feather bundle, and a couple pink quartz to spread the love.  I got excited and started to do some research, I want to know when saging first started, what were the benefits, how often should it be done, where can you buy it and so many more questions. I say that it all started with the Native American to bless an area using sage, flowers and other herbs to clear any unwanted negative energy. This Ceremonial Tradition helps any space feel free of negativ...

The Universal Laws

The Universal Laws This past week I really got interested in learning more about the laws of the universe. When I googled it some said there were 12 others said there were 7. These laws are happening naturally if we understand them or not. Even when we don't understand the connection to any obstacles we encounter in our daily life. By not living in the awareness of these laws. you may feel frustrated, confused and lost about your life's purpose. You may feel everything is going wrong for you, no matter what you do, how you act or how much you plan. Things keep going totally wrong. When people start to live their lives with the awareness of the laws of the universe. Begin to feel better, more productive, confident and feeling everything beginning to go their way. If you start to apply these universal laws you will notice a huge difference in the way you feel. So by practicing each of these laws there is such an advantage for personal word.  I'm sure you just want ...

21x21 Manifestation Challenge

A couple of week ago I saw a manifestation challenge that I’ve never hear or seen before. It’s called the 5x55 manifestation challenge. When I first found the video on YouTube I was in the Dominican Republic, so I decided when I got back home I would start it.  Basically the 5x55 Manifestation Challenge goes something like this. You decide on something you want to manifest. It could be anything from wanting a new car to getting someone to call. Honestly it could be anything your wonderful heart desires. So once you know what you want to manifest, you put it in a sentence “I’m so happy and grateful to be driving my brand new car” for example. Once you have you sentence you need to write it out 55 times for 5 days. It’s that simple. To be honest my hand hurt but by letting go of that pain, trusting and believing that what your writing will come. Makes all the pain worth it and fade away.   Since you get the idea. I want to share a similar challenge I will be doing for t...
