Intermittent Fasting 101

I’ve been doing some research on intermittent fasting a lot lately. It’s seems like a interesting dieting technique to do in prepare for the holiday season that’s right around the corner.  

I don’t know about you but I seem to always gain a few pounds during the Christmas Season. Who can resist those freshly baked Christmas cookies? Just think of those cookies are making my mouth water. Intermitted fasting seems pretty easy to add into my daily routine.

There are a few different types of Intermitted Fasting you can do:

  • The 16/8 Method - Basically you fast every sixteen hours
  • The 5:2 Diet - Fast for 2 days a week by only consuming 500 calories those two days
  • The 24 Hour Fast - This on is pretty basic you fast for one whole day
  • The Warrior Diet - During the day you can eat fruit or vegetables and at night you have a large meal
  • Alternate Day Fasting - Fast every other day by not eating or by eating 100 calories or less 


There are quite a lot of benefits by doing Intermittent Fasting. Below are some of my favourite:

  • Improves sleep
  • Promotes weight loss
  • Improves digestion
  • Promotes new brain cell growth
  • Normalizes hunger hormone
  • body class waste from cells more efficiently


PS: Make sure to drink a lot of water it help with hunger and increases brain power. :)

The Universal Laws This past week I really got interested in learning more about the laws of the universe. When I googled it some said there were 12 others said there were 7. These laws are happening naturally if we understand them or not. Even when we don't understand the connection to any obstacles we encounter in our daily life. By not living in the awareness of these laws. you may feel frustrated, confused and lost about your life's purpose. You may feel everything is going wrong for you, no matter what you do, how you act or how much you plan. Things keep going totally wrong. 21x21 Manifestation Challenge

A couple of week ago I saw a manifestation challenge that I’ve never hear or seen before. It’s called the 5x55 manifestation challenge. When I first found the video on YouTube I was in the Dominican Republic, so I decided when I got back home I would start it.  Basically the 5x55 Manifestation Challenge goes something like this. You decide on something you want to manifest. It could be anything from wanting a new car to getting someone to call. Honestly it could be anything your wonderful heart desires. So once you know what you want to manifest, you put it in a sentence “I’m so happy and grateful to be driving my brand new car” for example. Once you have you sentence you need to write it out 55 times for 5 days. It’s that simple. To be honest my hand hurt but by letting go of that pain, trusting and believing that what your writing will come. Makes all the pain worth it and fade away.   Since you get the idea.
